What an amazing day in American history! Even though we’re in the Cayman Islands, I’m absolutely glued to CNN!
I’m proud to say I’ve been a fan since I first heard Barack Obama speak at the Democratic National Convention in 2004, and my prediction of his Presidential victory goes back to August 2007.
Another thing I have in common with Barack Obama — his love of basketball. It has become the “semiofficial sport of the White House” according to an article in today’s Wall Street Journal.
Sure would be fun to be part of Obama’s regular pick-up game!
Jon Favreau — no relation to the Swingers actor/writer — who is Obama’s Chief Speechwiter, is only 27 years old. Great article in today’s Washington Post.

Dem House pick-ups: +24
